I founded Pine Design in 2020 after a milestone birthday (during the pandemic, no less) gave me the clarity to make a meaningful career change. After many years working in health care technology and strategy consulting, I chose to turn a lifelong passion for gardening and ecology into a focused, professional landscape design practice.

Today, I design beautiful, sustainable landscapes for homeowners and communities throughout the DC area. I approach each landscape not only creatively, but systematically and thoughtfully.
