The Pine Design process is designed to be clear, collaborative, and thoughtful—grounded in listening, sustainability, and designing an outdoor space that truly fits your life.

The Process

I present 2–3 concept designs, which we review together to explore layout, materials, colors, and overall direction.

4. Concept Designs

A brief phone call to get to know each other and determine whether we’re a good fit—from style and personality to timing and goals.

3. Site Analysis

If we decide to move forward, I’ll meet you at your property (along with anyone involved in decision-making) to talk through ideas, priorities, and how you want to use the space.

2. On-Site Consultation

A brief phone call to get to know each other and determine whether we’re a good fit—from style and personality to timing and goals.

1. Intro Call

When the project is complete, I provide maintenance guidance and remain available to answer questions—so you can enjoy your new outdoor space with confidence.

8. Maintenance Guidance and Joy!

After an installer is selected, I oversee installation on your behalf to ensure the design is executed as intended.

7. Installation Oversight

Once the design is approved, I send the plan out for proposal.

6. Proposal

Based on our discussion, I refine the selected concept and deliver a final plan with dimensions, materials, and a detailed plant list.
