My design work is grounded in both experience and formal training. I hold a degree in Biology from Amherst College, an MPH from Harvard University, a Landscape Design certification from Emory University, Master Gardener certification through the University of the District of Columbia, and a Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional certification. Combined with more than 20 years of hands-on gardening, this training allows me to design beautiful, functional landscapes that are horticulturally sound, ecologically responsible, and built to thrive.
Today, I design beautiful, sustainable landscapes for homeowners and communities throughout the DC area. While my career path shifted, the skills I built over decades—strategic thinking, project management, budgeting, long-term planning, and client partnership—are a tremendous asset to my clients. I approach each landscape not only creatively, but systematically and thoughtfully.
