Soggy to Social

This backyard was largely unusable due to persistent soggy conditions. We installed a retaining wall to intercept stormwater from the uphill neighbor, transforming a drainage problem into a raised planting bed that adds privacy and structure. The patio was expanded to support easy entertaining, and planting beds were enlarged throughout the yard to create a cohesive, layered landscape. The result is a functional space that balances play, gathering, and year-round beauty.
